Takeshi Obata arrested

from Yahoo Japan news.

[Weapons Violation] Takeshi Obata, writer of Death Note was arrested on suspicion of knife possession.

http://headlines.yahoo.co.jp/hl?a=20060907-00000054-mai-soci

(note: In Japan, police can arrest who has a knife with over six-centimeter blade without rational reasons. and Obata had a knife with 6.5-centimeter blade in his car.)

Obata LOL

Fortunately, he was released on the same day.

By the way, this is Obata's photo.

oh geez...

he looks so suspicious....
